Analytics

The analytics dashboard gives you visibility into your organization's resource usage, annotation progress, and plan limits at a glance.

Overview

Analytics help you understand how your team is using Master Annotator. Track storage consumption, monitor labeling velocity, and ensure you stay within your plan's limits. All metrics are scoped to the current organization.

Where to Find Analytics

Analytics are accessible from the organization dashboard. Look for the usage summary cards on the main dashboard page, which show key metrics at a glance:

  • Dashboard home — Summary cards showing storage used, total projects, and overall labeling progress.
  • Settings → Usage — Detailed breakdown of storage allocation and plan limits.
  • Project view — Per-project frame counts and labeling percentages in the Datasets tab.

Storage Usage

Storage usage tracks the total bytes consumed by all uploaded files across the organization, including:

  • CSV trajectory data files
  • MP4 video recordings
  • URDF robot model files and mesh assets
  • Organization and user avatar images

The storage meter displays your current usage as both an absolute value (e.g., "2.4 GB used") and a percentage of your plan's allocation. When you approach your limit, a warning banner appears in the dashboard.

Approaching storage limit

When your organization reaches 90% of its storage quota, you will see a warning notification. At 100%, new uploads will be blocked until you free up space by deleting unused datasets or upgrading your plan.

Project and Dataset Counts

The analytics dashboard displays aggregate counts for your organization:

MetricDescription
Total ProjectsNumber of projects created in the organization (active, not deleted).
Total DatasetsSum of all datasets across all projects in the organization.
Total FramesAggregate count of all frames across all datasets. This represents the total annotation workload.

These counts help you gauge the scale of your annotation effort and plan resource allocation across your team.

Labeling Statistics

Labeling statistics provide insight into annotation progress across your organization. Key metrics include:

  • Total frames — The total number of frames across all datasets in the organization.
  • Labeled frames — Frames that have at least one label applied. Shown both as an absolute count and per-project.
  • Unlabeled frames — Frames with no labels, indicating remaining work.

Progress Metrics

Progress is displayed as a percentage representing the proportion of labeled frames relative to total frames:

Progress = (Labeled Frames / Total Frames) x 100%

Progress is shown at multiple levels:

  • Organization level — Overall percentage across all projects and datasets.
  • Project level — Percentage for all datasets within a specific project.
  • Dataset level — Percentage for a single dataset, visible in the project's Datasets tab.

Tracking velocity

Compare progress percentages over time to estimate your team's labeling velocity. If a project has 10,000 frames and your team labels 500 frames per day, you can plan for approximately 20 working days to complete the annotations.

Plan Limits

Your organization's plan determines the resource limits available. The analytics page shows your current usage against these limits:

ResourceFreeStandardProEnterprise
Storage100 MB25 GB100 GBUnlimited
Projects320UnlimitedUnlimited
Datasets5150UnlimitedUnlimited
Robot Types13UnlimitedUnlimited
File TypesCSVCSV, MP4CSV, MP4CSV, MP4

Each limit is displayed with a usage bar showing current consumption. When you reach a limit, the corresponding action (e.g., creating a new project or uploading a dataset) will be blocked with a message explaining the constraint.

Upgrading your plan

Organization Owners can upgrade the plan from Settings → Billing. Plan changes take effect immediately, and new limits are applied right away. See the Pricing page for full plan details.
